A little About me

IMG_8075 4.jpeg

Hi, Im Amy,

My design journey began over eight years ago, starting with my GCSEs and culminating in a first-class BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from the University of Huddersfield. Realising there was a piece of the puzzle missing, I pursued an MSc in Marketing and Brand Management, which I'll complete in September with an expected distinction.

Throughout my education, I've immersed myself in both the creative and strategic aspects of design. I was named an inspiring graduate and received an industry recognition award for my work.

I've gained hands-on experience through internships, freelance work, and community projects. My placement year at the University of Huddersfield's Catering Department saw me rebrand and manage multiple outlets, create comprehensive marketing materials, and grow their social media following earning the national 'Rising Star' TUCO Award iin 2022.

Currently, I work remotely for Salus Safety Solutions, where I manage the brand identity, oversee social media and marketing communications, and ensure consistency in ISO management systems. I've collaborated with clients like Octopus Energy and Northland Power to design internal health and safety presentations and campaigns.

I’m seeking an energetic environment where I can tackle a variety of briefs and be challenged, as I thrive in fast-paced settings. This journey has shaped me into a mid-weight graphic designer with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity.
